The factory is being expanded to accommodate 4 – four spout stationary packing machines with all the accompanying accessories of Chinese origin to achieve an installed capacity of 200mt/hr or 4000mt/day.

Phase 2 of the Quacem Factory Project
The core investor of this project is INVESCA HENGHU LTD, a combination of cement manufacturers from china, and international investors who are currently in negotiation to acquire five other cement companies, two of which are based in Nigeria.
It is expected that by December 2010 Phase 2 of the Quacem Factory Project that is for production of cement from limestone at the Akamkpa quarry site will be completed. The company will then start production of cement at the rate of 1.2 million metric tons per annum.
